Meet Byte, Flowy’s little ant

Every day we collect small things that might matter later: a sentence, a recipe, a document, a link from someone we trust. We wanted a character that understood that habit. Meet Byte, Flowy’s little ant: a companion with a generous pack and an eye for useful discoveries.

A character with a reason to be here

Ants gather, carry and build together. Byte brings that spirit into Flowy with a charcoal body, bright orange details and a lavender pack. His pixel-art expressions give the brand a little warmth without taking attention away from what you came to do.

More than an illustration

In the web app, Byte can settle into a corner, blink, look around and open a small menu of useful actions. Move him if he is in your way. From the inbox he can help you get to Chat or add a document; inside a Group, his actions follow that space. He also respects reduced-motion settings.

Byte is one part of Flowy’s new identity: a familiar presence for a product that helps you gather things and make something of them. We are starting on the web and will keep refining where he is genuinely helpful.

Good ideas are worth carrying.
